Foodie fans gather for the launch of Greene Farm’s #TakeBackLunch campaign

On Thursday, 7th June, Greene Farm launched its #TakeBackLunch campaign with a delicious lunch time event in Drury Buildings. Aiming to change Ireland’s lunch break culture, Greene Farm worked with TV chef, Clodagh McKenna, to offer guests some clever tips and advice to maximise their lunch breaks, along with healthy Greene Farm recipes.

On arrival, guests were greeted with a refreshing glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, before filling their plates with an array of healthy Greene Farm dishes, including Cajun Chicken, Lentil and Orange Salad, Peppered Turkey Burrito, Chicken Buddha Bowl with Peanut Dressing and Clodagh McKenna’s special Greene Farm recipe, the Mexi Chick Salad. Clodagh explained that she had taken all the flavours of guacamole and put it into a zesty salad that combines Greene Farm Hand Prepared Chicken Breast with ripe tomatoes, romaine lettuce, red onion, avocado, coriander, lime, jalapeno vinaigrette and tortilla chips.

Guests in attendance included health and fitness influencers, Niamh O’Sullivan, Ciara Kelly and Lisa Nolan, Hannah Popham of TheJournal.ie, Rebecca Brady from RTÉ, Elle Gordon of VIP Magazine. Nail artists from Dublin’s leading nail salon, Tropical Popical, were on hand to offer mini manis to guests, while two trained masseuses from Stressless Massage left everyone feeling revitalised for the rest of the day, with a shoulder and neck massage.

Greene Farm makes the perfect lunch, every time, with hand prepared meats that are 100% natural, and free from additives, allergens and gluten. With only 15% of Irish workers taking time away from their desk for a full hour lunch break, and more than half of us dinning el desko, Greene Farm is now on a mission to help Irish people make the most of their lunch breaks this summer.

Instead of eating in front of a computer screen, why not make a healthy, easy Greene Farm lunch and then get outdoors for a walk, get a manicure, read a book, or take a fitness class? Changing up lunch time couldn’t be easier with Greene Farm’s ten ready to eat products, including two new products, Sriracha and Tex Mex Mini Chicken Fillets.

Greene Farm is available from supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide. Visit www.greenefarmfinefoods.com for more information or get involved on social media using #TakeBackLunch.
